Christmas Cookies

We made Farm Grandma's sugar cookies this morning (Farm Grandma is Kris's dad's mom). I will remember to appreciate this more in the future when Kris's mother makes them, as they were a heck of a lot of work! We had all 3 of us working on them, and it still took a long time!

Stian had fun decorating them though. Stian was in charge of the colored sugar sprinles.



You can tell by the way Stian is holding the sugar sprinkles in this picture that this project produced quite a mess. Fortunately when Stian was done he decided he wanted to wash the floor. So he spent the next 15 minutes or so down on his hands and knees washing the floor. It was perhaps not the best floor washing ever, but awfully nice that he did it!

Wisconsin Birthday and Thanksgiving Part 1

And then we were off to Wisconsin for more Thanksgiving and birthday fun.

And of course toy catalogs to look through. Grandma at the lake gets the best toy catalogs.

Minnesota Birthday and Thanksgiving Part I

We went north to Minnesota and Wisconsin for Thanksgiving and Stian's 3rd birthday. First we spent a few days at Kris's parents' house and then we spent a few days at my parents' house.

And we celebrated Stian's birthday.

Minnesota Birthday and Thanksgiving Part II

We went to Klebo's scout Honor Court while we were home. They were awarding merit badges (Klebo got one), doing skits, and eating pie. Mmmm pie! Stian got key lime, he quite liked it! (why do boy scouts shake with their left hands?)













Stian had lots of fun playing with cars with Klebo.



Stian helped Grandma decorate her Christmas tree.















We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner over at Karin and Brad's too - but apparently we didn't take any pictures of that!
