Grandma and Grandpa come to visit
Grandma and Grandpa Skjervold came for a visit this weekend. They took the train down. We had a very nice weekend. Stian loved having them here. It's nice to have a couple of extra people around to play cars with, play stuffed animals with, look at tractors with, watch videos of fire engines and rally cars on youtube with, make faces at and just chatter with. Thanks for the nice visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Painting
Stian's new favorite toy is a paint roller. He spends lots of time "painting the floors". You can see he's also getting quite good at winking.
Frosty Morning
Okay, I admit it, I hate winter. I know, what a thing for a person who grew up in Minnesota to say. But I do. I start counting down the days to spring in November. But Kris loves winter. And I hope Stian loves winter too. And I will admit that I do think winter can be very beautiful, like this morning.
Books
Stian loves books. We go to the library every other Saturday morning and get about 30 books each time and we read them over and over and over. We read them before bedtime, we read them before naptime, and we read them throughout the day. I love that Stian loves his books, Kris and I love our books too!
