Stian hadn't seen my parents since Christmas, so it was time for a visit! They came down for a long weekend. It was great to see them. And it was especially great to see my dad doing so much better - he had some pretty serious back issues this winter, but is about a million times better now. Stian loved playing with them. He likes to play peak. And whatever he's doing he keeps looking up to make sure one of them is watching him. He's such a flirt and a show off.
Grandma and Papa got him a new tractor, which Stian adores.
It even plays music. Stian loves music and likes to dance to the little song. He's got quite the moves.
Well, the pitty, pitty, patter of a little bitty feet's Gonna pitty, pitty, patter through our house.

Beautiful Afternoon
Stian has been sick the last few days (so have Kris and I). He took a short early nap today and so we decided when he got up to pack him up and take him to the park on this beautiful day. He was miserable. He didn't want to swing, he didn't want to play on any of the equipment. He didn't even want to ride in his stroller on the trails. He just wanted me to carry him and snuggle his head into my shoulder. Poor little guy. So we brought him home. He felt quite warm, so we drugged him and put him down for another nap. He slept hard for a little over two hours. When he woke up he was just soaked in sweat, but his fever had broken and he was in a great mood and finally had an appetite. So we had some food and then headed out to play in the late afternoon. I'm so glad he's feeling better again. I love all the cuddles he wants when he's not feeling well, but he's a pretty cuddly kid even when feeling well, and I prefer he feels well!

Day Ten: Miami
We got off the boat on day ten and had a day in Miami. We took a tour - our driver took us out to the Gater Park so Klebo could see some aligators, then he took us back into Miami to South Beach. That evening we went out to dinner at a restaurant that overlooks the airport where we could watch the planes taking off and landing. And as a surprise and added bonus we also had a great view of the shuttle taking off. And then the next day (yesterday) we flew home again! Thanks for a very nice vacation Grandma and Grandpa Skjervold!
Days Eight and Nine: Sea Days
We were at sea on days eight and nine, and apparently didn't take any pictures.
