I decided to pull out the kiddy pool that Karin, Brad and Klebo gave us last summer. Stian had a blast with it.
While we were playing in the front yard (and while we were playing elsewhere and while Stian was napping) Kris was building Stian a sandbox! It took him all day, but he got it done! It's so nice! Now we just need to get some more sand to put in it.
Kris made these nice little seats in two of the corners, and Stian quite enjoyed sitting on one of them.
He should stick to sitting on the seats and not on the edge.

I'm guessing that he will have MANY wonderful memmories of days playing in his new sand box -- even better since it was special made by his Daddy!! And he will have lots of pratice for next time he comes up to join Nathaniel in the "cousin sandbox" at Grandma and Papa's house! Can't wait to see those two together again!!
