Trauma

Stian had his 8 week doctor's appointment today, and it was rather traumatic. First, the stats: he's 13 lbs 6 oz and 24 inches long. Both of these are in the 90th percentile. So he's a big boy, perhaps not a giant like I suggested in the past, but a big boy nonetheless. He continues to be in good health. Then they did the vaccinations. :( Stian cried, I cried, Kris had to console us both. Poor little guy. Ouch! He seems all right now though. I'm keeping an eye on him, they said it wouldn't be unusual for him to be extra fussy this evening and run a fever. But so far he seems just fine. He's had a nap, some playtime and nursed since we got home.
