The word came to the waiting room from the surgeon's nurse that the procedure started about ten minutes ago at 9:05. Should take in the neighborhood of three hours.
Jeni's folks are here now and we're sitting in the waiting room together.
The shuttle just launched about the same time as Silje's surgery started. Off we all go.... Hold on tight!

I just heard about little Silje's troubles from some December 2007 mamas. I just want you all to know that I am praying for you and your precious daughter.
Hello. I am sure you would not remember me, but I recall you from PO and one of the boards. I remember Stian...LOL. I am praying for your little doll. A good friend of mine's son had this surgery very shortly after birth, and is now a rowdy, crazy, adorable little 2 yr old. Can't wait to see yours doing the same. She's got a lot of people pulling for her.
